Medovik, a multi-layered honey cake, is much beloved throughout Russia, Ukraine, and the rest of Eastern Europe for it’s tender graham-like layers and sweetened condensed or tangy sour cream filling. A labor of love, it will make any special occasion or holiday table extra sweet!

In this 90-minute live demo class. I will breakdown what might seem to be an intimidating process into simple, achievable components; and will share all my tips and tricks to getting each step right! I will cover how to mix and roll out the cake dough; stamp and bake off each round; and make a Russian dulce de leche buttercream to fill and frost the Medovik (sorry, no sour cream in this version!). There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way.

Two days before class, I will email you the recipe packet and a Zoom access link. If you can’t make it to the live demo, I will also send out a recorded version of class afterwards.
